When I first came across these ads, since I rarely see any vase advertisements,  I thought they were beautifully done. Using fireworks in place of actual flowers was a smart move, making the ad look elegant and enhances the vase rather than compete with it. The fireworks also go along with their copy that gives the impression that their celebrating their 300th year.

  1. I really like these ads. They are way more dynamic and engaging than having a vase on a pedestal. The fireworks making up the flowers are nicely done because they resemble flowers, yet they weren't so distorted that you lose the sense they are fireworks. I also like how the firework colors match those on the vase.

  3. I think that this is a great example of how a designer can turn something ordinary into something extraordinary. The contrast of the vase with the background really makes it stand out beautifully, and the fireworks look very pretty as they pose as flowers. I think it’s a great campaign.

  4. These ads are so beautiful just to look at! I thought it was very creative to integrate fireworks as being the flowers for the vase. But then I realized they're ads for porcelain vases. Wow! Then, in looking at it closer, it's actually a background and the vase is sitting on a table. The layout is simple but is creative.
